Sidney Schools provides an opportunity for community members to share their talents and expertise through the Adult Education Program. Any individuals willing to instruct an evening class are invited to contact Loretta Thiel, SHS Assistant Principal, to get started. Interested community members are encouraged to participate by calling the school to register. Quarterly fees are $20 per person, with $30 being charged if school equipment is used; however, senior citizens may participate for $10.
The Adult Education Program offers three sessions. The fall quarter begins mid September. The winter quarter begins mid January. The spring quarter extends from the winter quarter continuing through April. Approximately 300 community members participated in the various adult education classes offered last year.
